Sharron Gallagher B.A, B.N (UNB), M.Ed (McGill) , C.E.P.E.C. (University of Sherbrooke) is a native Montreal-er . Following a career teaching Nursing at Dawson College, she began her dream of becoming a painter of pictures. Sharron has studied art at the Visual Arts Centre since 2001, as well as with individual mentors. She loves to see the ‘little kid’ in people and things.
art is like making bread: you can sense it ,kneed it, feel it, taste it and smell it.
With oil on my paint brush, I love the feel of the texture and thickness of the medium. I love mixing the colours and that in itself may take a good period of time before I actually touch the canvas.
